Milestones
The following moments are a few milestones in the history of our organization serving children since 1994.
Dayton Peace Accord: HBA performed "A Child's Song of Peace" for the world's dignitaries at the Fifth Anniversary of the Dayton Peace Accord in 2000.
100th Anniversary of Manned Flight: In 2003, HBA was featured with John Glenn during the Centennial Flight Celebration and the 100th Anniversary of Manned Flight at the U.S. Air & Trade Show.
Space Shuttle and Wright B Flyer: For the first time in history, a model replica of the Wright B Flyer, developed by HBA and Sinclair Community College, rode through space aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery in 2005.
Ohio Law Conference: Teachers statewide welcomed "Haki and The Rule of Law" book at the 2011 annual Ohio Law and Citizenship Conference.
Distribution to Ohio Students Statewide: In 2014, the second edition of "Haki and The Rule of Law" was distributed to 40,000 students in schools across Ohio.
500,000 Students and counting: As of 2015, we have published more than 20 titles and placed more than 500,000 books in the hands of students.
